On the 14th of March room 11 moved classes to room 9 and room 10 moved to the hall because room 10 and room 11 where getting rebuilt to a bigger size.
When they took out the whiteboards a chalkboard that was used in 1992 was still there, it still has the names on it for their reading. After they took off the whiteboards Shimya and I did a job for Mr Goad which was moving everything from his desk to the room 9 desk. Mr Logan was so jealous because he didn't get to have a desk.
We had to take off all the books in Mr Goads office in room 11 from the shelves and put them in Mr goads new office in room 9. It was a really difficult job even I couldn't bear it but at the end we eventually finished the job. It was easy packing the trolley and wheeling it but then getting it up the steps was hard and un- packing it was really hard.
On the 15th of march the staff were taking off the wallpaper because the builders come on Monday the 19th. When they were taking the wallpaper off their was a hole in the wall that went straight through the wall and Mr Macalpine (the care taker) put a picture of Mr Michener (the school principle) inside the hole and wrote DO NOT LOOK IN HERE!! Everyone thinks its a rat hole. Once they take the wallpaper off they are putting it on the ground like carpet. It took us a little while to get everything sorted because room 9 is a bit smaller than room 11 but Finally we get there! Their were people taking photos in every direction. Marcus and Jontee were taking photos of Shimya and Me all the time. I thought that I would get blind. We would tell them to go away, but they would not listen. BOYS! Don't know when to stop.
The boys drew angry faces on their hands and put them through the wall. Moving to room 9 was crazy! On the 20th of March the builders had finished taking out the walls from room 10 & 11.
On that very day it was so noisy, from all the banging & smashing. All of the noise even made the wall vibrate & the shakey chairs rattle.
Every one felt crammed in the tiny room. The whole day was very exciting. It was a blast.
