The most popular sport is soccer. It started back in about 1930's and is still played now every 4 years. The last one was won by Spain. The best team is Brazil, they have won the world cup 5 times! The team that came second was Netherlands. They have come second about 3 other times as well. Italy are doing well as well. They have one it about 4 times. enough about soccer, let's talk about rugby.
Rugby is about the second most popular in the world. There world cups started in about 1987. And is still going now. The last one was won by the All Blacks ( New Zealand ) They have won it one other time and are the best team in the world.
Sport sport sport.What a wonderful thing. Played all over the world and at least by three quarters of the countries.

ReplyDeleteChoosing two popular sports to write about in detail is quaranteed to keep sports fans interested. Then just when I was starting to lose interest because the language was a bit uninteresting, you hit me the first sentence in the conclusion. I love the introduction, soccer paragraph, rugby paragraph and conclusion structure too.
