St Johns Madness

Look out St Johns cedets coming to the rescue!!! We are two experts of St John divison cedets in Nelson our names are Georgia and Ciarna and were going to tell you about St Johns.Were in the green group fo St John.

We start and end the night will drill that is when one of the leader yells out parade and all of the divion lines up in three lines which we come call rancks.Then the leader calls out Parade Parade Shion and then we all are standing at ease and then the leader calls Parade right dress and we look to the our right and put our arm up straight in line with the person beside you shoulder then we go to actensoin then we march up to the frout of the hall.

Every term we try to reseve a badge.We have to learn about the badges and do homework before you reseve our badges. There is three groups at St Johns, there are Green Blue and Gold and these are the groups of ages green is 8 to 11,blue is 11 to 14 and gold is 14 to 18. You get your Grand priour after get six very important badges!

Very third or forth night of St Johns we learn a bit of first aid. We remember Danger, Respond, Air way Breathing C.P.R,  that stands for Dr ABCs. We learn how to fix broken bones bleeding nosees and more.


Every year in June we have competitons at Tea Pot Valley. It includes Blenheim,Richmond,Motowekea and there are more that we cant remember.
