Things I Like!!!

I like reading, drawing and going on trips around the world.

My favourite authors are Jacqueline Harvey who writes the Alice-Miranda series and Stacy Gregg who writes the Pony Secrets.

The Alice-Miranda series is about a little girl called Alice-Miranda Highton-Smith-Kennington-Jones. She is 8 years old and goes to a boarding school called Winchesterfield-Downsfordvale Academy for proper young ladies. Before she went to the school the principal never talked to anyone but because Alice-Miranda is so nice she talked to the principal and then the school changed. The Pony Club Secrets is about horses, Issie and her two friends Kate and Stella. Issie, Kate and Stella go to Issie's Aunty's place as much as they can, they do heaps of things there. In one of the books they are filming a tv show and in another one Issie horse gets stolen and she goes half way around the world to find him.

I also like drawing even though I'm not very good I still like it. I like to draw people and animals, I've got an animal book at home where I learn how to draw them some of them are really hard to draw but at lest I try. I also like when I'm drawing for it to be perfect.

In June or July we are going to Australia we have already got the tickets and everything we just have to get the saving money. It will kind of be a birthday present for me and my sister. We are going with some friends of ours and are seeing my sisters friend who moved. I can't wait till we go.

So that is what I like. I like reading, drawing and going on trips around the world.

  2. There is so much for a teacher to like about this post Olivia. An introduction and a conclusion. Well ordered ideas organised into paragraphs correctly. Grammar, spelling and punctuation are all spot on. Writing for the reader's understanding is near perfect!

You have chosen things that you love and it shows in your writing. Lots of relevant details add interest and you have used language fairly precisely. To add more interest for the reader you could add the occasional personal comment (eg, "The Alice-Miranda series is as good as reading ever gets").
