Once a term we have a house day competition. We have four houses they are called Oamio is red house , Marsenden is blue house , songer is the yellow house and Ngawhatu is green house. There was a lilo race, it was my favourite because you got to go in the swimming pool. There was a tug of war Oamio was in the final they had to tug against the adults. The adults won. 
The four houses had to do challenges against others house and you get house points witch room 10 adds the points up and at the end of the year the house with the most point gets a thorphy. There was lilo race it was in the pool, oamio-red won the lilo race against marsden-blue. The tug of war is when the houses go against teach other. In the final you have to tugs against the teacher. Oamio was in the final against the teachers but the teacher won witch is a bit sad but I've got over it.
The best part of my day has to be the lilo race because I was one of the people that push them on the lilo with people on it across the pool. It was hard but it was awesome. The second best thing thing was the tug of war.

DeleteGlad to see you publish another post Latia. You've done a good job of writing so the reader can understand you. The post mostly makes sense (I got a little lost in your 2nd paragraph). Spelling and punctuation is mostly accurate (there is a bit of editting to be done).
ReplyDeleteThe first paragraph makes a good introduction and to add more interest for the reader a paragraph detailing what happened in the pool and then another about the tug of war would be a great idea.
