Hi my name is Emily and I'm going to talk to you about swimming sports. At swimming sports the year 6s go first. I was nervous when Mr.Logan called out my name. for my fist race my dad was watching when I was doing a length of over arm, and half a length of back stock.I swam a hole length think that I would win but I lost because the fastest year 5 swimmers.I came second in back stock because younger children.

Nice writing on your first post Emily! Your writing is quite accurate (makes sense, spelling and punctuation). It is easy for the reader to understand (I was confused when you talked about why you lost the overarm and cam second in backstroke).
