By Emily
The Anzac soldiers stand tall,
against the wall,
ready for the bombs to fall.
They stand in grief,
As mothers cry
The bombs drop from the sky.
Some lived, some died,
To this day we remember them.
They risked their lives,
to bring peace to their countries again.
ANZAC Day 2012
A very special poem Emily. You add so much to the poem by including the mothers of the soldiers who were dying.
