I'm a cat lover! Cats are my favourite animals. I have cat this and cat that so that must mean a cat party. Cats are the best. Cats meow, they don't bark. I like cats because they are colourful. Did you know cats have over one life?

My brothers and me with Georgie.

Georgie was my first pet cat. He wasn't just my cat, he was everybody's cat. Georgia was a family pet. I know I was only small when we had Georgie but he was the biggest cat I can ever remember seeing. We got a new born puppy, Minnie, when Georgie was an adult cat. Dad called her Minnie because she was so tiny. Mum was worried that Georgie wouldn't like having a dog around but I knew that it would be okay. It was okay too. It was more than okay. Georgie acted like he was Minnie's dad. He would protect Minnie when the neighbourhood dogs picked on her and scare them off. Georgie loved Minnie so much that he would let her curl up on top of her and they would both fall asleep. They kept doing this even when Minnie was full grown. When Georgie finally got old and died everyone cried except for Dad. Minnie walked around all of Georgie's favourite sitting and sleeping spots for weeks like she was looking for him.

I'm a cat lover but I I've never loved a cat more than I loved Georgie.
