Winning a $30,000 playground.

 “Marcus” I hear my mum call. “Can you come hear please?” “Ok” I call back. “Marcus” she says when I get there, to make sure I am listening. “Yes” I say back. “You know how stoke school got into the draw to win the $30,000 playground” “Yeeeaaah” I say, not knowing what will come next.“They want us to come to down to the school to take a photo” she said. “But we took a photo at the Try Athalon” I said, annoyed that we had to go down to the school when I was so much fun at home. “Yeah, but they want to take a photo of us at school” she said. "and if you don't want to come it does not matter because you have to"she added, before I could protest any further. "it's at 10:25am so you better hurry" she said. "10:25am!" I blurted out. "that's only in 15 minutes!" I said. "exactly" she said. "so you have to eat your breakfast, get ready and go" After finding my medal, borrowing my brothers shirt and scoffing my breakfast, we finally got into the car and drove off. "look mum, there's Maggie" I said as we climbed out of the car. When I got onto the field one of my friends came running and telling me..."Marcus!" "we won the $30,000 playground"he said "DID WE!!!" I yelled out loud. "mum!" "we won the $30,000 playground!" I yelled in triumph. "Awesome" she said back. "Hey, you want to play ball tag?" my friend asked. "Sure" I said back. Bang! Bang! Bump! The ball is flying every where. "Daniel's in!" I hear Travis shout. Daniel's running and throwing the ball every where. It's like world war 1. He's coming towards me and Travis. Travis runs away, I dive into cover just as the ball comes's sailing over my head. "Dan!" I hear Daniel shout as he runs to retrieve the ball. I run to the other end of the tiger turf. I see Daniel running to one side of the tiger turf to try and get Travis's little sister, Nichole. I see and hear Nichole scream and dodge out of the way of the ball. Daniel swore. He's coming towards me. I am trapped against the metal fence. I will have to run for it. I'm running I'm running, I hear a loud BANG! As the ball hits the fence just centimetres behind me. I keep running until I get to the small group of spread out tree's. then I hear a shout and it's time to take the photo. First we have to go onto one of our old playgrounds. Then we have to go onto the field to taske a photo of us running towards the camera. Then we play a bit of ball tag on the playground and it's time to go home. I feel that it is lucky I went and I feel so lucky that we won.
