Improving Student's Writing - Progress Report

By Teach

I love numbers! I love their simplicity, the patterns they make, their infinite uses, and the fact that you can play with numbers and make them say pretty much whatever you want. So, I do not promise to let our blog numbers speak for themselves in this final progress report of our first school term. I won't be able to help myself explaining what I think the numbers say.

Our blog goal is to improve student's writing. Students aims for their writing are:
  1. To write clearly for the reader's understanding;
  2. To write for the reader's interest.
We have a simple way of measuring whether students writing is improving
  • The growth of our audience as a class;
  • The growth of each student's audience.
View "Audience Growth - Report" to see whether Room 11 students have increased their audience.
