I Kept Going

Oh no!!! Woohoo for three days room 11 and room 10 were doing Cycle Skills. At the front field for 3 sunny days to learn how to keep safe when you are on the road.

Mr C told us how to Bike on the tracks and then it was my turn aaaaaa! grass! grass! it is comeing full. phew I just about fell over then I stood up The I got up again I kept going.

Now it is time to end our lesson I want all the bikes to come in.

This is a writing test. Students were given 45 minutes to plan and draft a story recounting the best, or worst, thing that happened to them during Cycle Safety. The stories are assessed as 'draft writing' for how well they have been written for 'readers' understanding' and 'readers' interest'.

Readers' Understanding:
  1. Grammar (making sense).
  2. Accurate spelling.
  3. Accurate punctuation
  4. Background information (making sense).
Readers' Interest:
  1. Writes about one main idea in detail at a time.
  2. Uses descriptive language.
  3. Uses language features (expressive language).
  4. Uses personal comments.

    2. 25 out of 26 words spelt correctly.
    3. Sentence capitals/full stops used accurately.
    Exclamation marks used accurately.
    4. When/who/what/where/why included.

    Interest:
    1. Recount 1 moment in detail.
    2. Descriptive language - 0 examples.
    3. Expressive language - 0 examples.
    4. Personal comments - 0 examples.
