We Have Moved

Thank you to all the viewers who have visited our blog!

Our class has been unable to write very much this term due to ongoing renovations and problems with connectivity in our new classroom, and a new schoolwide writing programme direction.  We have also moved into the newly renovated classroom next door to our old classroom and we are now Room 10.

All of this means that we are beginning a new classroom blog.  We will provide a link to the new blog after its launch on Monday 25 June 2012.

traffic jame to ruby bay

Mum are we there yet. In the holiday's there was this traffic jame and were going
to go to a fair. Hoped in the car and tryed going to the fair. Were half way there
and decidid to go to ruby bay. Ruby bay is a camp site but we didn't go and camp
we just had a visit. When there I saw to of my friends there Rory and Raymond.
5 min later we saw this tree so we all started climing it. When we were up there
we started picking pine cones out of the tree we got about 12 out. Then we grabed
two big sticks and started knoking them out we got about 20 pine cones out.Then
Raymond saw an small rock island he said to me lets try and get over there and
I said yeah . It wasn't far away all we had to do it cross a shallow bit of water but
there jellyfish in it. So went back to the tree on the way back we found 10 or more
smaller. Islands and there were small fish all them so we went on the islands and started
trying to catch them by splashing the water on the island we got 1out. Then I
along the side of the island and there a fish on my foot I got it off my foot and
grabed a rock and killed it. 2 cought then we through them to the segulls. Then
we all decided to have a SAND FIGHT! me and Raymond against Rory. Rory
through a sand bomb it Raymond but I dodged it. I through a sand bomb Raymond
though a sand bomb. 30 minutes later Rory was covered in sand from head to toe
Raymond had sand all over his chest.  I  had a great day at ruby bay.

3-1 To Them!!!

The whistle blew and then the other team was happy but my team was sad. On Saturday the 19th of May my team played soccer we played in Moutre we lost 3-1. I had to go to my friend Anna's place at around quarter to 9 because her mum was going to drive us to Moutre because my sister Kiela had her game at quarter past nine but they left at 10 to 9 to get there early so that Kiela and Anna's brother Tom could train.

While I was at Anna's house we played on the computer. We played a game called Poptropica. Anna helped me complete an island and helped me to start a new island, the new island is a really fun island because it is not a hard island but it is not easy. We had nearly completed it but then we had to leave early because we thought that if we couldn't find the field we were playing on then we had plenty of time to find it and that we wouldn't miss the game.

The game was a really long game but it was a fun game except they were getting angry with our team because some people were pushing them to much. I accidentally tripped a guy over but I ran back to see if he was OK. I did this really AWESOME save. Our goaly Toria was about to do a kick from the corner of the goal box and I told her to stop for a second so that I could get in the goal just in case the other team got the ball and scored a goal. The other team did get the ball and almost got a goal but they did a big kick past everybody and luckily I was in the goal because I kneed it and it and it went really far and high. The two teams started to push alot then when our coach was the ref stopped the game and then said that there was to be no more pushing and shoving. After the game when we shook hands they were saying mean things but I ignored them.

After the game I asked if Anna wanted to come to my house. She said that she would love to, so she went home and got cleaned up then she came over. My sister got asked if she would like to go for a sleepover at her friend Mia's house she said yes and as soon as Mum asked her she was already packing her bag. When Anna came around we played Poptropica again and then we went to Jay Jays and we both brought the same hat it was a beenie. After Jay Jays we went and got Mc Donalds chips and a drink then we had to take Anna home because she was going to see Julia's new house. We were running a bit late and Mum thought that we were going to get told off but we didn't. Anna didn't want to go and look at Julia's new house and she said I hope that they have left already. When we got there Julia's family was there.

The next day Kiela and Mia popped in to say HELLO and then left. Kiela went with Mia to Motueka so I didn't have a sister for the whole day.

It was a really FUN weekend. I hope to have even more fun next weekend.

Me, Hayley and The Peasants

  On Saturday night at 5:00pm I went to pick up my friend Hayley. We were going to the Theatre Royal to watch The Peasants play. It started at 7:00pm and finished at 10:30pm.  I got my mum to ask the backup singer to come over to us because Hayley wanted to meet them. She remembered me from the last time she saw me. Me and Hayley won a CD each and it has one of there songs on it. When it was time to leave we waited for the backup singer Abbey and we found her talking to Holly, the girl that plays the key board in the band and we asked if we could take a picture on mums phone, so we stood beside Holly and Abbey and got picture. After that we went home to eat some chips and have a drink then went to bed. The next day went to church and took Hayley home. She said it was the best night ever!

Wahoo

123 team, we all say to begin the game we all are wishing to win! We kick off, it was a great kick for Hayley one of the teams awesome forwards. As soon as we kick off as back step up a few steps but everyone was running up to try keep the play in other teams side of the field. Zara another one of our great forward dripped up to the goal and has q mighty kick at the goal but sadly the goalie drives onto the ball and saves it.

The Nelsons Mustangs' goalie is not that good of a kicker so we all spread out everywhere because she could kick it anywhere. Lucky the ball came flying to me, I had time to control the ball before one of the Nelson Mustangs get the ball from me. So I boot the ball all the ways up over everyone head and up to Anna another girl in my soccer team who then pastes it to Oakley who pastes in to Hayley who has a great shoot at goal and...

everyone is seaming and cheering because she got a goal the team is jumping up and down because we are winning now. We all race back and get into position. The other team kicks off and Anna and Oakeigh ran out and tackle the little boy and Anna kicks it out. Everyone runs to try mark the other players, but the person that though the ball throed it srate at Branna one of the teams new players in the team so we take the a penalty kick. The guy who kicks it got lots of air under it and boots it into the corner in the goal so Toria the teams second goaly drives but miser it and the ball went in. At that moment all you could here was the other team going wahoo! The wisle goes for half time.

My Dad is thew couch so he gives the team a pep talk and some oranges. We all scoff our races with them, then Dad tells us were we were going to play for the second half. Toria was the goalie
 for the first half and because I am the teams other goalie she wants me to go in the goal but everyone else wanted her to stay in the goal. The Nelson Mustangs kick off and Zara goes and tackles him, but she missers so Tanykah  trys but she missers and the ball is strating to go out but before it does I run up to it and put all the way up the field but it goes out so Anna takes a corner and she kicks it to me and the goalie has try  to get it so I had a shoot at the goal and I get it in!!! I jump up and down because I got a goal and because we are winning.

Dad blows the wistle and the game is over so Connie scems out WE HAVE WON YEAH!!!! Now we are all so happy becauese we won the game we were wishing. Zara got player of the day for trying so hard!

Foot Ball Info.

 Foot Ball (soccer) is a sport where can not use your hands. There is an equal amount of players on each team. They have to try pass a round hard leather ball to each other and kick it into a netted goal. The other players have to try and stop the other team by intercepting a pass or kicking or pulling the ball away from the person with it without kicking or tripping people up. The game goes on for a certain amount of time depending on your age. There is a person that guards the goal and can use his hands but is in an marked area.

 Foot ball goes back in history for decades. It is the most popular sport in the world because even if you are a poor kid in Africa all you need is a bit of plastic or paper, roll it up and kick it. Kids have played foot ball for many years as well. Clubs in the South Island in New Zealand like FC Nelson, Suburbs, Richmond and Motueka, are big clubs with heaps of teams from midgets to a Mainland team. Theres still lot's of kid teams out there so if your a kid and like foot ball then it is not too late.

 The now days best team in the world is Brazil. They have won the world cup 5 times!!! They have been the best team in the world for many years. In the last world cup they got knocked out in the quarter finals by Netherlands. In there group there were Ivory Coast, North Korea and Portugal. They came top of the group and Portugal came second.

Italy is one of the best teams too. They have won the world cup 4 times. They won it the time before last time in 2006. But in the last world  cup, they had New Zealand, Slovakia and Paraguay in there group and did not win a single match. They should have even lost to New Zealand but the ref favoured them and gave them a penalty that should not have been one. They lost 3-2 against Slovakia and drew 1-1 against Paraguay. Over all, not such a good year. 

 Spain won the last world cup in 2010. In there group there was Switzerland, Chile and Honduras. They came top of the group but lost 1-0 to Switzerland when they were by far the better team and hit the cross bar or the post many times. Then they went through winning every game, and coming against Netherlands in the finals. The game went all the way into extra time but finally a guy called Andres Iniesta scored Spain and the cup. But before that he should have got red carded for punching Holland super star Van Persie to the ground. But Holland had been fowling before that and even got a red card. So, Spain deserved a win.

 Netherlands are one of the best teams in the world. Surprisingly they have not won a single cup! Not one single one. They have come second about 3 or 4 times including last year. They came top of there group which had Japan, Cameroon and Denmark. Then they went through winning every match and coming against the best team in the world, in their last quarter final and bet them 2-1. Then they met Uruguay in the semi finals. They bet them 3-2 and went through to the finals against Spain who bet Germany in their quarter finals.Then they both met in the finals and Spain won 1-0.






 

      New Zealand were the only team in the whole world cup who did not lose a single match but did not win one either. They came in a group with Paraguay, Slovakia and Italy. It was the worst group in the whole  world cup. To get into the world cup they bet Bahrain 1-0. The goal was a beautiful header goal scored by Rory Fallon. Compered to the rest of the world New Zealand are not such a good team and that was the first time they have ever got into the world cup tournament. Ryan Nelsen is the captain of the New Zealand national team and scored many goals though he is a defender.

 
  Even though New Zealand are not such a good football country, I love foot ball, and I am proud of my country.

Rugby Leauge Skill's

On Monday we got taught some awesome skills on the filed. We got taught where we place our hands how we run with the ball and also how you should hold the ball. We did a few warm ups to warm our body's so that we were ready for the rest of the activity's. We also played alot of games they were so fun. I love Rugby Leauge it is so fun and really full of hard working skill's.

My Best Friend Shimya.

On Saturday me and my friend Shimya went together to watch an exciting basketball match the Giants Vs Wellington Saints. We were supporting the Giants. After the extanding match i got to stay at my best friend's house,sleep over time. We watch movies such as cartoon movies and actionand comedy aswell.

We started to play alot of games put then it got kinda boring so we went up in her room and turned the radio on ans started dancing really crazy. We planed to stay up really late and have a late night fest at mid-night but when we layed our self in bed both of us fell straight to sleep soring away. When we woke up we went to power zone it was so fun. Then we went to chruch when we went in the chruch people started singing while we entered.

After that we baked and cook yummy food.

It was so fun staying at my best friends house i hope that i can stay another night some day. xxx

Stoke School's New Class Room's.

Stoke School have now got amazing class rooms. Room 11 which is Mr. Logan's class has bright lime green on there walls and there carpet is grey with black and white strips. And my class has a colour like a dark ocean blue colour on the walls and our carpet is the same as room 11's. The builders but new heaters in both room 10 and room 11's class room's because the old rusty heaters were pretty old. We also have really cold but cool cloaks the fall is really cold it's like concert but not really hard. The hard working men are building our cool amazing deck is gonna be so exciting when they finish. On the deck they are gonna put up a little roof  to cover both room 10 and 11's students bag's and hooks along room 11 and 10's outside walls so they so its pretty much our place where we place our bag's. I can't wait till the deck is finish it's gonna be awesome. Our School is gonna be so cool.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a very special day for hard working mother's and parents. Because it takes out all the stress out of them and then next minute they get spoil ed like literally.It's because for all the effort they put in me and other mother's children's or who ever they look after. I'd say yeah they deserve a one day holiday more likely like a one day of peace before the next day of horror. But yeah i reckon well done to all the mother's in the world for a good job of being a wonderful and amazing mother. Oh and yeah for the childen thank you mother's for being a cool mother.

Sleep Over Time

QUICK MUM! HURRY! WE DON'T WANT TO BE LATE!
On a grey, gloomy, Saturday evening at 6:30pm my Mum, Brother and I picked up my best friend from her Nana's house. It was going to be the first time my best friend had stayed the night at my house.

After we picked up my best friend Darlene,  we went to watch a basketball match which was the Nelson Giants play the Wellington Saints. Me and Darlene kept saying, " I'm sooooo excited. "

When me, Darlene and Mum went to the giants game my brother Joshua stayed at my aunty's place because he didn't get a free ticket like me, my Mum and Darlene did. At halve time me and Darlene went to the food stand and bought some food. Darlene bought, hot chips and a python lollie snake which is a long 30cm lollie snake. I bought 2 python snakes and a $2lollie mixture that had heaps of candy in the paper bag. At the end of the gamethe giants signatures including the manager, coach, other people and the announcer.Ahot drinklandsome cookies, read jokes than we went to bed at 11:00pm. Me and Darlene were going to have a mid-night feast but we straight away fell asleep because we were so tired so we didn't have the mid-night feast.

In the morning we went to power zone and played games, watched a funny play and than I bought Darlene a purpleKachoo. I got Josh a blue furry soft thing and me a pink furry soft thing and a blueberry scented lip balm. After power zone we had a big morning tea than we went to octopus park for a bit and played on the swings. After we did baking while Josh was making lunch . We baked Chocana muffins which is chocolate and banana muffins. Josh cooked nuggets and long rolls and lettuce so we can make burgers. Baking was a really messy task. Darlene kept stirring and I poured in the ingredients. I kept pouring chocolate chips in when my mum wasn't looking. Me and Darlene were looking at each other laughing. While me and Darlene waited for the muffins to be cooked and the lunch was being cooked we played connect four. Darlene kept beating me at connect four. I was so annoyed. When it was time to eat the food I was so full I couldn't even walk.

At 5:OOpm we dropped Darlene of at her Nana's house. We had so much fun. I can"t wait till she stays the night at my house again. Stay toons.

Rugby

On Saturday I had a game of rugby and we lost again. But I hope we win are next game of rugby. We have been training harder and harder every training so we can get better and better every time.When we have are next game this week I wont be there because I will be in Auckland to watch the Blues and the Worriers and its going to be fun and I get Friday of school to. And my favourite player in the Blues is Garreth Anscim and my favourite player in the worriers is Shron Jonson. They are really good players. By Will.

Wedding Show 2012

By Lillee Wow that's a really BIG helicopter. I am so scared. I have not been by a helicopter in my life. The wedding show is what you go to when your planing on getting married and there is lots of wedding stuff you can book for your wedding. My favourite thing was the helicopter I got to hop in the helicopter its so big I got a photo from my mums phone.I thought the helicopter was scary.

Spectacular Rugby!!

 In the weekend  I played rugby for Stoke Red. We played against Howie.  We lost, the score was 29 to 32 it was a good game because it was a hard game. It was our first game this year. I have loved rugby all my life. Because my dad played when he was a little boy so he helps me to get better at my tailing. I want to be an all black when I am a teenager. My favourite team are the All Blacks. Our team won the trophy 2 years a go. This week we are playing  at are home ground, the team we are  playing are the Wonders. We won against Wonders last year. We are under 11s. My number for rugby is number 8. It is fun at number 8 because  you get in the game more. Then the backs. Birthday Party's Rock!!!

"Thank you, this is so AWESOME!!! You guys rock!!!" On the 5th of May I had my birthday party it was a sleepover. Before I had my party I played soccer.My team lost 5-2. The team we played was an all boys team. They weren't hard they were just quicker than us. This time nobody got take'n' away in an ambulance or got hurt.

I invited Anna, Sahara, Toria and Georgia. My party started at 4pm but by the time everyone arrived it was about quater past 4. At around half past 5 we went and got pizza from pizza hut, everyone got a large pizza each except for my sister Kiela she dosen't like pizza so she got the chips from pizza hut. After pizza we played on the goal post their. Dad turned it over and put Me, Sahara and Georgia on it then we went and played on the playground. Me, Sahara, Anna, Toria and Georgia hoped on the fake horse that was there and dad rocked us Sahara was on the back and almost fell off. We pretended that it was a rodeo and put our hands up like we were riding a bull.

When we were driving home dad drove like a maniac it was really fun. When we were leaving Tahunanui dad tried to pass mum. He went beside mum and then dad tried to scare us and it sertinly worked we were screaming because when we passed mum there was a curb that came out and dad drove straight towards it then at the last minute dad turned and went behind mum. When we were driving along the road dad was driving nicely then all of a sudden he went all over the road. When he was driving silly Sahara hit her head on the window and Georgia almost did, I was lucky because I was sitting in the middle. When we got to around about dad drove round and round the round about.

After tea we went to Video Ezy and got the movie Joody Moody and we got candyfloss YUM! When we got home we set up the beds because we were sleeping in the lounge. Me and Sahara slept in the double bed that folds out, then next to me was Anna on a mattres then next to her was Toria on another mattres then Georgia was next to Toria and Sahara. We set it out so that we were in a circle with all our heads facing in to the middle. Then we watched the movie that we had recorded on MY SKY HDI it was called Sleepover. After Sleepover we watched Joody Moody. When we were watching the movies we ate the candyfloss.

During sleepover we played a game called Blinds Mans Bluff. Blinds Mans Bluff is an AWESOME game. We covered all of the corners in our hall way then Anna was the tagger and we had to try and not get tackled if we did then we were in. We made another rule for the game it was if you weren't in you couldn't touch the tagger or you were in. You have to play Blinds Mans Bluff in the dark so then you can't see where the tagger is.

We went to bed at midnight. Georgia and Toria fell a sleep and we put lipstick all over their faces. Toria woke up and said "what are you doing?" Me and Sahara ran and jumped into bed and pretended to be a sleep then when she went back to sleep we took a photo of her and Georgia. Me, Sahara and Anna didn't go to sleep until 3 o'clock in the morning.

Sahara stayed until 3:30 because her mum and dad where doing something. When everybody had left Sahara, Me and Kiela shut all the doors into the kitchen and caught all the flys. Then we caught some preymantises and moths. It was really fun.

My birthday was AWESOME and I got some really cool presents. Sahara gave me a photo frame with pictures of me and my friends. Anna gave me some lipbalm and a voucher. Toria gave me a gift voucher for Jay Jays and Georgia got me a plant. Tomorrow is my real birthday and I am turning 11. I had fun at my birthday party.  

Soccer Nightmares

'' I'm trying Dad''. I got the ball, I am running just before I shoot someone tripped me over. I donged   my head on the ground. I start to cry, my head I hearts as if was on firer. Luckly when I herat my head it was very close to the end of the game. Anyway Dad said it was the end of the game. Before I knew it every from both teams were looking down at me. That was one of the most scersest parts of my hoilday.

Annas mum(Anna is one of my best friends at school and also one of the girls in my soccer team) ran over to me and started to asks what herat the most. I said my neck. Then she went down my back with her hands and asked my what herat my neck. Just then Connie's mum(Connie is another girl in my soccer taem) said I am a nurse. She segested to call a ambuolanse then I started to cry again because I got sceared.

Ten mintures later the ambuolanse was here bec ause I heart my neck the ambuolanse drived right to me and my mum and Connie's Mum and Anna's Mum. The two St John peoples named were Paul and Tim. When they came out of the ambuolanse Paul,Tim, Anna,s Mum and  Connies Mun help roll me over and put me on a stecher and put a brase on my neck the name of the base was stife neck I thought that was ca bgraet name foe it because I is for a stife neck. Once I was in the ambuolanse all I could se  top of that ambuolanse. Tim was the driving of the ambuolanse. Paul put a funny thing on my my arm and my finger.

It was a long ride because my soccer game was in Motuaker that is about haft an hour from Nelson (Nelson is were I live).  When we got to the A'n'E rooms. There was a lot of people there because it was Saturday (sport day). I was lieing on a nurseing bed for one and a half hours, I was very boring!!! Soon it was my turn to go have an X-ray. In the x-ray all I hat to do was push my sholders down and stay very still. After the xray I had to waiting for Tim (my doctor) to look at my x-rays that took him half an hour because he was looking at other people that was in A'n'E rooms. 

In the end I was ok and I got to go home and 2:00! Remember that was 4 hours in the end in A'n' E=(

Builders Buiding.

At Stoke School we have builders here and they are really annoying.There here because were geting some new class rooms (room 10 and 11) and some deacks to(room 11 10 9 and 8) my class is getting a new wall coluler( slimey green) cool right.Room 11 and room 10 are changings kids and teachers.

Mistery's At School.

 Here at my school (Stoke School )me and my friend's(Hayley and Emily) love mistery's.Hayley is doing a post about a case.  When I grow up I want to be a spy if I can be a spy I know my friends would like to as well.At lunch time if were board we would make up a mistery game and solve the mistery. It is a lot of fun to do when your really board of learning!!!

Boat Trip.

By Rosa.    Im going to Austrailia in 7 day's and when im there im going on a boa t trip.  For the boat trip im going to Hamloton island.  At Hamloton island you take a plane there and you can go on a boat around the island it is a glass bottom so you can see the big or small fish.  You can swim with the fish and get snorkling lesins as well.  I can't wait till i go there.

My School Is Cool And My Friend Are To

My School is cool because you get to meet different people who speak different languages. The teachers are cool. But the princial is cooler.

I LOVE Netball

I  love netball because its a super spectacular and fun game.I have been playing it for one year.

I am playing it this year and next year and the next year and it goes on

Rugby On Saterday

On saterday I had a game of rugby in Motchawak we where vsing Hui we lost 29-32. But I had a good game. I got a try. We played 100meters. And I played wing. It was a really good game even thoe we lost.we all tried are hards.And are next game is it green medows and we are vsing wonders gold and the hole team is hoping we will win. But it is only our 2kd game so it dosint mater if we lose. By Will

As the Turks wait patiently for the Anzac's to arrive. They get there canons ready to blow and there solderers ready to firer. Far in the misty distance they see the Anzac's intervening for revenge. As soon as the Anzac's arrived in the Turks area they fought like rough tides of smashing waves. Some died and much survived. As there revenge slowly fades away they settled down like soft swaying currents and returned back to there camping place. Until the next time they saw each other again.

the awsome anzac party

The world wars in stoke the 2 stoke war  was laid by E.R.neal on october 27th 195 the stoke hall. When october 27th 195  who A.H.ching why because to remember the soldeirs. My great grandad he was a bomber.He was in a plain he whantid to be a mishenguner but he was to tall. I went to the anzac party with my dad we seen a battle. it was the BRITISH VS GERMENS. I went inside the battle plain  it was HUGE!!.Then me and my dad seen the battle it was a awsome day.

"YIPPI!" On Saturday I am having my birthday party. I am having a sleepover. I am inviting 4 people.

I am inviting 4 of my friends to my birthday party they are Georgia, Toria, Anna and Sahara. For my birthday we are going to have pizza for tea and play some party games we are also going to get a couple of movies to watch. While we have our tea we are going to the park to have it then when we have had our tea we will play a game of soccer.

I can't wait till my birthday party. It is going to be the best birthday party ever. I hope That all the people I have invited are aloud to come.

Soccer

On Saturday the 28th of April my soccer team played soccer. We had to drive all the way to Motueka We played Motueka Hawks. My soccer team is Suburb Storm. Before I played soccer Kiela played.

At quarter to 9 Kiela played soccer at Saxton Field. Kiela's team is Suburb Pirate. In her team their is a couple of Stoke School children playing. In the morning it is hard for Kiela to get ready sometimes it is even hard for me to get ready. Kiela mucks around in the morning because sometimes she doesn't want to play soccer.

Dad took Anna, Anna's Mum and Me to Motueka to play soccer. I really wanted to watch Kiela play but we could only watch 10 or 15 minutes of it. I'm glad that we left when we did because most of the way we had to drive at 50 miles an hour because their was road works. Their was 10 minutes till the game and I was nervous because it was my first game. But I'd say we did all right for our first game even though we lost 2-0.

In our team their is a lot of Stoke School children. They are Georgia, Anna, Toria, Tanykah, Zara and Me. Their is some new people playing in our team they are Tanykah, Zara and Connie. I like our team because it is a all girls team and we work well together.

Connie does some good tackles when the other team has the ball because when she goes to get the ball she trips over and then the other team player trips over her.

I love playing soccer. I wish it would go every year all year. Next year I am playing soccer. I hope that next year Anna, Georgia and Toria play as well.

My Wonderful Holidays

  My wonderful holidays were all about playing apart from a couple of other little jobs. I biking, Making sand castles, Golf, Train rides, Went to Kai Teri Teri and went for long rides in the car.

  Biking at the Saxton Stadium was awesome! We went all over the place. We went on roads for ages . That meant we had to cross allot of roads and give way to cars but of coarse before we did any of that we did helmet and bike checks and exercises. The exercises were called The Shrinking Square, The Obstacle coarse and the Indication Test. The Shrinking Square is were you have to stay inside the square or your out. You need four people for the walls and the rest of the people are in the middle on their bikes. If you put your foot down your out. As you ride around, the square slowly shrinks by the people that are the walls moving in. The last person in the square wins the game. The obstacle coarse is a wooden task were you have to ride over and you can't fall of. At the end of the coarse there is a sea saw. In the Indication test we had to indicate with our hands for three seconds, look back and turn. When we are about to stop we put one of our hands up for three seconds and then stop.

  Me, my Mum and sister went to the beach in Tahuna. We were making small sand castles. Jessica's was called the Indian Castle and me and my mums castle didn't have a name. There were allot of dead crabs and pipis that were still closed washed up on the beach.

  Golf in Tahuna was fun except I lost. My mum was keeping the score and my opponent was my sister. It was hard keeping the scores because we kept on replaying the rounds to get lower scores than each other. On the last coarse we had to hit the ball up a slope and into a barrel and the barrel leads to a little room that collects the balls for tomorrow.

  I went to train rides in Tahuna at 7:00 pm with my Sister, Mum and Nana. We went on two different trains and my Mum and Nana went on one each but Me and my Sister went on both of them . After that we had a hot Milo.

  At Kai Teri Teri I stayed in my Nana's caravan for two nights. We went for walks along the beach collecting shells and rocks, we went to two parks, one was old and one was new. The old play ground had a tyre swing ,slide, flying fox, swings, monkey bars and a bridge. The newest playground had climbing wall, bridge, 2 flying foxes, 3 slides, swings, sea saw, monkey bars and rocking seats. Beside the new play ground is a massive flying fox and I went on it. It was awesome! I also made a new friend called Aleesha. We had delicious teas. They were Rice Risotto  and Fruit Salad.

  I went for allot of long rides in the car with my Mum, Nana and Sister around Motueka and Mapua. I saw allot of horses, cows and sheep. I took my wool and some lollies and started to plat the wool.

  Iloved my holidays that I spent with my family It was  AWESOME!!!

Injury At Soccer!

"YES!!" On Saturday the 28th of April we played soccer we lost 2-0 we played Motueka Hawks. At the last minute Georgia got hurt and had to go in the ambulance. After the game we went to Anna's family bach. It was fun at the soccer game until Georgia got hurt. It was fantastic at Anna's family bach.

At soccer we were losing but we were having a FANTASTIC time... Until their was a injury. I didn't see the injury happen but I knew something was wrong because Georgia is one of the players that when she fulls down she gets back up but this time she tried to but then I think she realised that she had injured her neck. Luckily Anna's Mum is a phiso and she went and helped Georgia while Oakley's Mum called the ambulance. While Anna's Mum was doing that everyone was wondering how she was and was getting worried. When the ambulance came we all waved goodbye. The next day Anna and I went to see how she was, Georgia told us that it wasn't broken it was just bruised. Anna and I were relived that Georgia was OK.

After the soccer game Anna's family and my family went to Anna's bach. Kiela, Mum, Dad and Me only had one pair of clothes and Kiela and Me couldn't get our clothes dirty. As soon as we got their we went to the beach and made a restaurant. For food we had seaweed and oysters. Our restaurant was called the SEA HIGH RESTAURANT!!! Nobody came to our restaurant except Anna, Tom, Kiela and Me. After tea that night we played charades. Anna did the Muppet's but it was really funny to watch her because we couldn't guess it. Anna put her hands up to her nose and we were wondering what she was doing then when someone guessed it we asked her, she said that it was meant to be Kermit the Frog. I was laughing so much that my stomach hurt. Dad did glee and we couldn't guess it either because he did the biggest smile that he could do and Mum guessed smile and grin. He also acted out the dancing and we were laughing so much.

So my weekend had it's ups and it's downs but in the end Georgia was fine and I had a PHENOMENAL time at Anna's family bach.

My Holidays

On a breezy early morning, I went down to Dunieden with my aunty & cousins for my great-grandads funeral. The next day after we left my mum & brother Josh flew down to Christchurch on a plane than caught another plane from Christchurch down to Dunieden. Josh went with mum on a plane with her because he didn't have any experiment on a plane & I did.

On the way to Dunieden we stopped in Christchurch to stay for the night at my other aunntys place. The next day at sunrise we drove down to Omaru to stop at my uncle Jimmy's place for about 2hrs than we hit the road & started our long journey ahead of us to Dunieden. When we were in Dunieden I was so glad that the rocky, bumpy  ride was over. My aunty dropped me off to my great-nanas to stay. 4hrs after I came to nanas, my mum & josh came from the airport.  When the funeral was starting me & mum were already bursting in tears & other family members. After the funeral we stayed in Dunieden for another more than we had planned to stay.

On the way back I went with mum & Josh. We bussed from Dunieden to Christchurch. On the way to Christchurch we stopped in Omaru for a halve hour break, than we carried on travelling down to Christchurch. We stayed the night at my aunty's place. At 5:00am in the morning we went to the bus stop & caught a bus to Kaikoura. When we were in Kaikoura we had lunch & then we got back on the bus & drove down to Blenheim. In Blehneim we waited for 15minutes than we got a bus to Nelson. From Nelson we got a bus to to Stoke. It was a really wavy ride from all the buses rocking side to side.

My family believe that my great-grandad would go to heaven because he believed in god. I do too.

Going To Lush!!!

“Oh it smells nice in here!” “WOW!” They were the sounds of my friends as we walked into Lush. On the 15^th of April my friend Anna had her birthday party.

Anna invited Me, Georgia, Toria, Julia, Sahara, Hannah, Grace and her brother Tom. We went to Lush. Lush is a shop with bath bombs and body washes.

At Lush we did some games. One game was with a bath bombs. We were split into 2 teams Team 1 and Team 2, We had our own team charnts, team 1’s was TEAM 1 and team 2’s was THERE IS FOUR OF US BUT WERE TEAM 2!!! The game was really fun because the 2 teams got 1 bath bomb each and with the bath bombs we had to go under and over when it got to the last person that person went to the front and it kept going until the person that was at the front at the start was at the front at the end. When the person was at the front at the end they would put the bath bomb in a bowl with warm water. The bath bomb we had was called Dragon Egg and the bath bomb that team 1 had was called Twilight. When the Dragon Egg was put in the water it made the bowl over flow but it also looked like sparkling flames and the Twilight looked like a sparkling pink sunset.

The other game was when everybody stood in a circle and we got this fake jelly but it was wobbly and shaped like jelly. We had to throw the jelly to each other and if it was to easy we would dip it in with the Dragon Egg then take it out and start throwing it to each other again and it would make it slippery and if we dropped it we were out.

When we got to Lush we got name tags mine was Olivia Branch, Toria’s was Toria Baby Bot, Georgia’s was Georgia Cauldron, Grace’s was Full Of Grace, Tom’s was Blue Sky's and Fluffy White Toms, Anna’s was Anna Pondo, Julia’s was Mint Julia Lips, Sahara’s was Sahara Side and Hannah’s was Hannah Bee.       

At the end of Anna's birthday we got $20 to spend on what ever we wanted. I got 2 bath bombs they were the Dragon Egg and Phoenix Rising I also got a shower bomb.

It was Fantastic at Anna's birthday. I think I might go to Lush a bit more now!

Theres auditions for the school band...Oh My Gosh Oh My Gosh Oh My Gosh!!!What should I sing "HHMMM"think quiter ciarna otherwise some one will copy you and you dont want that to happen do you.Ring Ring Ring Ring yes the bell rang now I can go home and choose a song."Mum im home and I have a quistion for you.What is it my suger plum well well its school band auditions and I dont have a song to sing and I was wandering if you had eney ideas.Got one how about Adle Rolling In The Deep perfect now all I need now is the auditions!!

On Anzac day I went to the Basket ball you had to dress up in blue because thats the giants colour and there were $4000 werth of prizes to be one from toy world I won!!! a lego pack my sister won a littles pet shop pack and my cunsin won a girs secret diary and a drink bottle giants lost by 9 it was a good game.

On Anzac Day me my mum my brother and two friends went to founders park.
we went  throw the gates we all had to have an id parse to get in.
wen we got in we went on the train.
we wear siposto get five train tickets but we got six in stead.
Thea wear to people that had no tickets so i gave the spear ticket to them.
In the train wen it stoped we quickly changed carts.
Then we went take a phicher with the nears and then we went to take phicher of the solders then my brother got to go on the merry go round then we played apple dipping and i got my brother an apple then i got my self an apple then we went in the airplain.After doing all that fun stuff we had to go home i didn't won't to go home but i had to but wen we got home we had some lollies and then we went to the park.

Remember and Honour the Soldiers

ANZAC day is a public holiday for New Zealand and Australia. New Zealand and Australia only have ANZAC day. We have the 25th of April off school and most work every year because in World War One (The Great War) lots of Anzacs died and we all New Zealand and Australia should remember and honour the soldiers.

To remember World War One New Zealand and Australia celebrates the anniversary on Gallipoli on the 25th of April every year 98 years ago on the 25th of April 1915 the Anzac’s sailed and landed on Anzac Cove that is were the ANZACS war base was in world war 1.The word Anzac means Australia New Zealand Army Corps. We use the word ANZAC to remember the very special word ANZAC. The Anzacs are the brave soldiers who fought in the Great War.

In the Great World War The Anzacs battle grounds was in Gallipoli which is in Turkey. Sadly with in eight mouths from April till December 11,430 Anzacs died so that means 8709 Australia died and 2721 New Zealand died with in eight mouths. (That is very sad.) The brave soldiers had a life in the trench. I love sleeping in my warm bed and not sleeping outside in the rain, if I had to do that I think I would die!

I know all the soldiers who did not die would have lots of friends who died and I feel sorry for them.

Going to Picton

In the school holidays my Mum Dad and my 2 younger brother shay and Levi went to Picton to see our Nana and Granddad .When we got to Blenheim we picked up my older sister Kelsey then we carried on to my Nana and Granddads’ . Our Nana and Granddad have two trikes for us to ride. When we got there they had already got them out for us, we played on them while mum and dad unpacked the car. We stayed the night there but my sister Kelsey was staying the night at her friends who also lives in Picton. We dropped her off there that night then we went back to nana and granddads. Before we went home Mum and Dad had a Coffee with Nana and Granddad while we played on the trikes. Mum and Dad finished packing the car then Dad said “time to go home” and Shay Levi and I got in the car and we went home.

(How doyou think he got them?) well didnt he say he eat`s... 1proten shake/a bowl of oats with a banana and warter and put it in the(ok not one more word of what he eats). I dont get it why didint he arm resill with mr micherna well maby he dosnt want to.(What were thogh`s orenge things?) well maby thay were (little cards?) no (what about) little card's (I just said that!) oh...did you. (Livi was cool but then we had to go).

Learning Rugby Skill's

By Rosa.  On the 24th of april 2012 we had some rugby playes on the front felid.  They cause thay had to teach us rugby skill's.  I cound not kick the ball so one of the playes came ofer to show me a diffent way to kick the ball.  I did a homangis kick.  They had same citifacits to give out they gave them to Shardenee Jonnty Shimya Will and Ciana.  My teacher got given some mc donld voutchids.
